What just happened to me?
What happens when we ask Jesus to be our Savior?
It is the most amazing transformation know to mankind, likened to the beauty and power of a caterpillar opening the cocoon into a whole new world becoming a canvas for God to paint His wonderful purpose. Like the butterfly your perception of the world has changed, your spiritual eyes have been opened, giving you the option to see beyond your situation and circumstance. The Greek word for saved is sozo, it means to save, deliver, and protect. When you asked Christ into your heart to wash you clean from all sin and unrighteousness He did just that, He saved you from the death that sin brings by cleansing your heart. You are a new creature in Christ!
Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, NKJV
2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. KJV
How many are righteous? Who deserves to go to heaven?
No one is righteous of their own deeds; it is only through the grace of God, the sacrifice of Christ on the cross and His resurrection that we can be considered righteous. Without Christ You are nothing, but with Him YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS!!

Who is held accountable for sin?
We are each accountable for our own sinful acts as well as the sin that exist in our hearts. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We are accountable for what we say, every word, and you will give an account for every word your heart speaks through the mouth.
James 5:12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your "Yes" be "Yes," and your "No," "No," lest you fall into judgment. NKJV
Matt 15:18-20 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man….. NKJV
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. NKJV
Matt 12:36-37 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." NKJV
What is man’s basic spiritual condition?
Every man is born into a sinful nature; we live in a sinful, fallen world. You may be a “good” person liked and loved by many, but until you accepted Christ as your savior you were living according to your sinful nature. Sin separates you from God and expedites death. Without a relationship with Christ there is no redemption of sin.
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. KJV
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; KJV
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.KJV
How can we be saved from sin?
It is actually quite simple. Confess your sins to the Lord and ask Jesus to cleanse your heart from all evil thoughts, ask Him to forgive you of your sins. Repent of those sins by turning your back on the habits that open the doors of temptation to those sins. Ask Jesus to live in your heart as your King to be your guide, your deliverer, your provider and of course………you’re SAVIOR!
Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. KJV
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. KJV
By what Authority am I saved?
You are saved by the authority of the name of Jesus, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess He is Lord. You can only get to the Father through His son Jesus. In other words, if you want to go to heaven you must have a personal relationship with Jesus. God the Father gave His Son, Jesus, all authority in heaven and on earth, it is through that authority we are saved.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. KJV
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. KJV
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: KJV
1 John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. NKJV
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. NKJV
Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. NKJV
As already stated, salvation is an amazing gift of God given freely to all who ask with a sincere heart. It is the first step in identifying your purpose, your reason for being. It is the foundation of your future with Christ and the development of your understanding just Who Christ is in You and Who You are in Christ.
Ask Jesus to give you supernatural knowledge, understanding, and wisdom concerning these two revelations. You won’t be disappointed but you will be empowered!
IF YOU DO NOT KNOW JESUS as your personal savior and desire to enter into a personal relationship with Him then simply say this prayer from your heart.....
"Jesus I know I have sinned and come short of your righteousness. I ask right know Lord Jesus that you forgive me of my sin and make me pure. Purify my thoughts and my intents. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness and make me a clean vessel ready to serve you. I now dedicate my life to you Lord, all that I am and ever hope to be I give to you Jesus. Thank you Jesus for this miracle of salvation in my heart and transformation in my soul. In Jesus name AMEN!"
